The location is close enough to the center of town to be easily walkable, but out of its busiest area. It is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff was helpful and polite. As a side note, we came with rudimentary Spanish, but didn't need it here -- the staff's English was far better than our Spanish. The breakfast was impressive, even including a pleasant performance by a local musician. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and they even included a little nosh as a treat for our anniversary. The women at the bar were not very friendly and serving people out of order. Bizarrely for a beer bar they do not offer flights/paddles or any different sizes of beer except a large. We decided to leave without buying any beer. Unfortunately a couple of us had already ordered food so took it to go. I would strongly recommend going to nearby Barbarian or Nowhere instead. Service is much better, you can get different sizes of beers and you can see clearly what is on offer.

The chimichurri had zero flavour which I don't understand how that's even possible and if I was blindfolded, I would never have guessed that the octopus was grilled. It was sadly an oily, flavourless dish.My side plate, bread basket and butter still remained after the main was cleared even though I'd finished before the starter arrived. I also waited to be offered deserts but the offer didn't come.I so wanted to have a great experience here, but sadly I didn't.

Luke Costa: We were literally just looking to try chicha de guiñapo, a fermented purple corn drink that only comes from Arequipa, and this was one of the only places we could find that sold it.Although more of a restaurant, the staff allowed us to sit at the bar whilst then providing us a complimentary selection of local breads and butters. Excellent hospitality and a beautiful restaurant.

Carmen Diniz: Ambiente muito agradável, comida autoral. Gostei que há a opção de pedir meias porções, assim pudemos experimentar vários pratos. Os drinks eram maravilhosos! Ainda penso no chilcano de hierba luisa que pedi 😌 atendimento muito bom. Recomendo e voltaria.
