C M: Loved staying here. Breakfast was delicious, people were really nice and the room + gardens are really pretty and clean. Rooms looked like little caves, really charming. Wifi/internet was super solid, worked here for a week without an issue. Felt really safe. They also sell water/wine at the front desk which is open 24/7. They also have laundry service (I think 1kg is 10 soles) which was a God-send. Highly recommended!

Ёжик Боббичка: I have stayed in a lot of Hampton Inns over the years, almost all in the United States. Most of them remind me of a cleaner version of a cheap motel with a breakfast room added, so my expectations were not very high. However, I was extremely surprised. The Hampton in Arequipa was amazing. First, the location is perfect. It's right in the middle of the historic centre of town, and easy walking distance from all of the major historical and cultural sites. The hotel itself appears to be a very modern construction housed within a historical structure, complete with interior courtyards for outdoor dining (I ate breakfast outdoors most days). The room was very nice, spacious, clean, modern. I didn't have a view, but it was clear that many of the rooms would have a view of one of the three volcanoes that surround the city. The fitness centre was not bad - mostly cardio equipment with some light dumbbells - and was open 24 hours. Breakfast was good. It included the usual continental and US offerings but also some specialties from the local cuisine. I hadn't expected there to be a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, but I had dinner there on my last day and it was delicious - a pisco sour, a tiradito de trucha and chicharron de cerdo. I will definitely plan to stay there on my next visit to Arequipa.
