Ville Palonen: Llama Education is a first-class Spanish school and highly recommended!I have experience from other Spanish schools in Mexico, Guatemala and Spain, and I can honestly say that during my 2 weeks (40 hours total) in Llama Education in December 2022 I learned much more than I was hoping for.One-to-one teaching method was extremely flexible and worked really well for me because everything could be customized to my needs. I enjoyed especially the fact that even grammar lessons included lots of conversation, in fact it didn’t feel like grammar studies at all when we were talking about local politics or Xmas traditions.It's possible to study online, too; I had a few Whatsapp classes before my visit to Arequipa, and will have another dozen online classes during 2023.Many thanks to Maria who runs the school – you are super!

Trevor Farris: What a time, what a place, with amazing, welcoming, and helpful people. It has been seven months since I arrived in Arequipa, so I am writing this review with a bit of time and space in between, but it was such a powerful experience it feels like I was there just last week.Firstly, the amount that my Spanish improved from being in Arequipa for only three weeks was unlike anything I experienced in California, and I had been taking Spanish classes for a few prior to going to Peru. I had a pretty good understanding of how the language worked and a decent grasp on the grammar, but I never could have a real conversation in Spanish, whether that was because I never had anyone to practice with as intensely as I did at Llama Education, or whether that was because I was afraid to practice. But taking classes helped me get the practice I wanted and needed to actually feel like I could have conversations in Spanish. The classes are very intimate-- they are one on one, you and the teacher, so you get so much time to speak in Spanish, fail speaking in Spanish, and learn to speak in Spanish. Martha and Jimmy were my teachers and they were very helpful at pushing me to grow my vocabulary and understanding and use of grammar. It was also great having one on one classes because you end up talking about real things, not those silly American Spanish class conversations. My teachers became my good friends while I was in Arequipa. Also through the classes I got to learn a lot about Peru, it's history, it's culture, it's food, etc.Secondly, Maria is amazing and so helpful. When I arrived in Arequipa, Maria came to the airport and picked me up in a taxi, and she showed me around the city and where the school was and how to use the buses. While we were wondering around the city, the family I was originally going to be staying with while I was there called and said they were no longer able to host me, so Maria offered for me to stay with her, which I did, until another family she reached out to was ready to host me. It was very kind of her to host me, and it was nice to be able to talk with her (almost entirely in Spanish) and get to know her. Maria was also so helpful in trying to retrieve my lost baggage from the airlines. I didn't have my luggage for a week, and spent a lot of time trying to locate it and get it to Arequipa, and Maria also helped a lot. She came with me to the airport to try to talk to them there, she called people, etc.Thirdly, I ended up staying in Arequipa with a family that Maria knows, and that was an amazing experience in itself because it is quite a different experience to traveling than one gets if they were to stay in a hotel or hostel. The family I stayed with was also very welcoming, helpful, and kind. They included me in all of their plans. I got to meet and get to know their extended family as well as them. They talked to me and made sure to talk to me, which was good because I was able to get more practice speaking Spanish at the families home after going to Spanish school.And finally, Arequipa is a cool and beautiful city. It's different than Cusco--which is the other city I visited in Peru-- because there seems to be a lot less tourism, which I think is good because in Cusco a lot of people speak English, but in Arequipa it seemed like the amount of English spoken was a lot less, which again is good for practicing Spanish.Llama Education provided a great experience for me and anyone considering participating in the school should definitely do it!

Hamish Grime: Maria is such a lovely woman - shes great to learn with and very supportive. I particularly like that she provides plenty of information (and homework) and can structure the lessons for you but remains very flexible. She was great with all my questions and i felt i could take the lesson where i wanted. Definately recommend!

Kyle Green: I had been researching Spanish immersion schools all over South America for over a year before choosing Llama Education in Arequipa. What this school offers cannot be found anywhere else- teacher rotation for advanced listening skills/training, a structured curriculum that covers ALL tenses beginning with indicative and finishing with subjunctive, cultural education covering Incan history as well as Peruvian business and politics, sports, cuisine, music, and health and wellness, and the teachers are EXCELLENT. I completed the entire duolingo Spanish language course, the entire pimsleur Spanish audio course, and I had taken private lessons for 10 months before taking classes at the Llama school and I can honestly say that these are the best teachers you are going to find in any immersion program. Also important to note is that if at any time the school starts to reach peak attendance, Maria the owner of the school and head of the program has alternate locations to accommodate student overflow. This is a common complaint that other students have about other schools in other countries. Usually if a school reaches peak attendance, the group sizes just increase or lesser experienced teachers are brought in on a temporary basis and the students end up suffering. This WILL NOT happen at the Llama school. I would recommend the 6 week package and I would also recommend taking the local accommodation option or staying at the school. This guarantees a full immersion and a safe and healthier experience overall for a price that cannot be beat.My wife and I had an unexpectedly bad experience at an airbnb and Maria literally rescued us. Unexpected things happened and we needed help and Maria was there to help deal with our airbnb cancelation (made calls, translated, negotiated, saved us money) and found a last minute accommodation for us at the school. It was incredible. We ate well, toured the city, met and hung out with neighbors and friends, lived life as a local and left with an unforgettable experience.

She made a customized program for me adapted to my level of Spanish at a schedule that worked best for me. For 5-6 weeks I followed individual classes, face to face (respecting all covid measures). The classes were 50/50 talking and grammar, which was a nice combination. My level increased a lot! Julie Ha: It was my first time traveling to Perú– my first time traveling out of the country by myself, and I am so glad that I chose to go to Spanish Llama Education! I learned so much in a short amount of time. María and Martha made me feel at home and taught me so many things that I will keep with me forever.I came here for a few weeks, and Martha was my teacher. She taught me everything entirely in Spanish, and did so in a simple way, yet incorporated in lots of vocabulary. During this time, I had just completed the grammar series at my school, and wanted a way to practice outside of the classroom. At Spanish Llama Education, I learned a lot about the landscape, history, grammar, numbers, culture, cultural specific words/phrases, foods, and so much more of Perú. The experience felt very personal, because along with learning about the country, I learned a lot about myself, since Martha loved to ask me questions, and also loved to tell me stories. I liked that she made conversation feel natural and comfortable, and it was a welcoming space where I felt free to make mistakes, learn from it, and try to use new vocabulary that I’ve learned. Her handwriting was neat, and she used lots of colors, which helped me immensely. The paper worksheets were useful, and I thought they were wonderful resources that allowed me to refresh my knowledge of Spanish, and learn more from it. María was also my teacher on a few occasions, and she is also a wonderful teacher! I was so surprised to learn that there were many more rules for por and para, and other grammar stuff that they taught me, that I normally wouldn’t have been taught in a traditional American Spanish class. The wealth of knowledge that Martha and María had, and the way they taught it was great, and I’ve been so thankful that I’ve learned and benefitted so much from their teachings.Being a solo traveller, I felt lonely sometimes during my trip in Perú, but I loved that María was always there beside me. I ran into different troubles, but María always listened to me and gave me advice. She helped me navigate, and went walking with me around Arequipa. My favorite memories with María were at the dining room table, where she sat and talked with me. She always made me feel welcome in Arequipa, whether it be in her home or outside, and it let me know that I will forever have a friend in Perú. She also helped me book a tour to Colca Canyon, where I had so much fun! I learned a ton about Spanish and Perú, and was able to fully immerse myself in it. Even after finishing my weeks at the school, María still went out of her way to help me with a problem that I had with a phone company, and spent so much time helping me, and I am forever grateful for that. I feel so much love and respect for María, who is so caring and loving to all students that come to her Spanish school. I will always remember her kindness, and we still keep in touch to this day!In Arequipa, I’ve done so many fun things– I went to Plaza de Armas, Colca Canyon, the mall, took dance classes, ate yummy food, took Spanish classes, got my hair dyed, went horseback riding, walked around the city, but most of all what I cherish the most is how much Spanish I’ve learned in such a short amount of time and the wonderful friendships that I had formed with the dance group, María, and Martha. They made my first time in Perú a memorable experience that I keep very dear in my heart.I highly recommend Spanish Llama Education to everyone of all levels! María is very responsive through texts and emails, and can find what you are looking for and cater the material to your Spanish learning needs. I remember not being able to go the first time, but I still kept in touch with María and attended the school a year later. Bart Doolaard: Wow, we had such a great time at this fantastic language school! Me and my girlfriend spent two weeks learning Spanish here. Maria, the owner, is very kind, approachable and attentive to the needs of the students. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the school, it is a homely environment which worked great for us.We were taught by teachers Jimmy and Marta and would highly recommend both, both for their expertise and their sense of humour! We practiced conversations with Manuel who was very kind, funny and did more than his best to learn us his language.In two weeks time we went from basic spanish to a very satisfying intermediate level of spanish. We did not expect to be able to understand and speak this much and are very grateful for the entire experience, all we have learned and the great laughs! Therefore we would highly recommend learning Spanish at this school in Arequipa :)

Caleb Wright: Not only was Llama Education the best way to improve my Spanish rapidly, it is a invaluable experience that has brought me friendships and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.I traveled to Peru in January 2021, the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, during my final semester of remote learning at a university in California. I was very anxious about being abroad during the pandemic, however when I arrived in Arequipa at María's home, I soon realized everything would be okay. María worked all day to ensure that we felt safe by disinfecting the house regularly, following public health guidelines inside and outside the house, and helping us navigate Peru's constantly changing COVID regulations. María also accompanied us to a COVID testing site and cleared up confusion with the testing staff so that we could get the necessary tests for our return flight to the US, which I am not sure we could have done on our own. All this is to say that above the language learning and travel experience, María is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of her guests, even during times of unprecedented crisis and hardship such as the pandemic.Now, onward to the experience itself! I stayed in Arequipa with María and her daughter for 6 weeks, taking 20 hours of total Spanish lessons each week. I had taken 4 years of Spanish classes in high school prior, but had not practiced or used the language regularly since then (about A2 level or maybe a little less because of how rusty I was). After the 6 weeks with María and her fantastic teaching staff, I am now studying to take the DELE exam at level B2, which is a HUGE leap. María tailors the learning experience to each student by alternating between grammar instruction and conversational practice with multiple trained instructors. This approach was perfect, as I was able learn the crucial grammar concepts and then immediately apply them in conversational practice in a way that was impossible during my high school classes and self study.Beyond language instruction, my time in Arequipa was filled with adventure and memories. My friends and I made a pact to only speak Spanish for the duration of the trip (which we succeeded in for the most part) which was difficult at first, but after 10 days or so we were able to converse around the house without major difficulty in communicating. We spent many hours around the table eating María's delicious Peruvian meals (Papa a la huancaína, pollo a la brasa, and anticuchos were some of my favorites!) and learning more and more about each other--something I never had done in second language before. It was like my friends and I had been adopted by María and made part of her loving family! She showed us around Arequipa's historical sites (plaza de armas, monasterio de santa catalina) and even woke up at 3:30am with me to go see the sun rise over Misti and the other volcanoes that tower over Arequipa. María used her network of connections to get us a great deal on a private guided trek through Colca Canyon, the most awe inspiring place I have ever visited. After spending the night in a cabin near the the bottom of the canyon and learning Kechua phrases from our guide and his friends by the river water-filled pools, I knew that this was the most special trip I had ever taken.If the message is not already clear, GO NOW! Start making your plans to stay with María and prepare for a one of kind experience that will drastically improve your language skills, stretch your mind, and fill your heart with love of a new place and the incredible people you will meet. For me, Llama Education was the a major step in a lifelong journey of language learning and the beginning friendships that will extend far beyond my stay in Arequipa.Thank you María, Sonja, Martha, and everyone else who made this trip so special!

Chris Wu: Tuve el placer de pasar una semana de exploración de Perú en la hermosa Arequipa. Fui allí por su famosa cultura y comida, y aunque resultaron ser increíbles, una de mis mejores experiencias fue con la escuela Llama y mis maestros. Estaba bastante golpeado en cuanto a energía después de viajar por todas partes en el autobús durante semanas y tenía pocas expectativas de mis 4 horas diarias de clases individuales. Pero María y Lucero hicieron un gran trabajo mejorando mi comprensión del idioma. María, quien también es la propietaria, aportó una gran calidez, conocimiento y diferentes formas de enseñar cada mañana, y Lucero aportó mucha energía, paciencia y determinación mientras inculcamos el conocimiento de la mañana en la mente durante la tarde. Rik Kotter: We booked a cooking class this morning through our hostel that was supposed to be at 4pm (they also have an 11am option). However, slightly after 11am they called us to cancel our class. Since we're leaving tomorrow to Colca Canyon and the morning class has just started, that means we can't a cooking class anymore in Arequipa because of this cancellation.Although we would have still preferred the 4pm option, would they have communicated earlier that they would cancel it, we could've lived with the menu of the morning class, but not even that was possible now.And yes, we know today is the feast of Santa Rosa de Lima (a holiday), but that does not excuse the poor communication on their behalf.

maureen ba: First of all the activity started 15min late while we were asked to arrive 10 min in advance... Not nice.We did the Lomo saltado class, we were 3 people. We paid 75 soles each for 2 hours class. It went well, we did one small meal and then Lomo saltado. It was OK because the chef is really nice but if I have to rate the class, it was not the best.First of all the class lasted 1h45min and during it we ate the meal so we only cooked 1h15min maybe. It did not learn much as the was not technical part, it was really basic.I did not learn anything about Peruvian history or culture and the ingredient were basic, nothing so local.I spent a good moment thanks to the chef but honestly the class is disappointing.

JOULIOS JOULIOS: Compañía de Turismo muy mala , al igual que la empresa con la que realizamos la excursión del colca fuimos también engañados por esta compañía ya que nunca fuimos informados al contratar sus servicios que los lugares a visitar estarían del todo cerrados , nos ofrecieron sus tours en la Plaza Mayor y pagamos 35 soles por cada persona por un servicio que fue todo un fraude . Nos sentimos muy desilusionados y decepcionados de las pésimas compañías turísticas como esta.

Liz S: Muy mala compañía contratamos sus tours mediante el Hotel nos cobraron 40 soles por cada persona por un mal servicio , con una pésima guía que solo buscaba sacarnos hasta los últimos centavos del bolsillo ya que nos llevaba a comprar helados , artesanías , tiendas de alpacas , y para rematar todo nos hicieron montar en unos caballos que estaban muy mal atendidos y con secuelas notorias de maltrato animal hicimos la queja en nuestro hotel al volver y nos dijieron que el servicio ya estaba dado y que no devolverían nada del dinero así que esta compañía y el hotel fueron cómplices del engaño y fraude que sufrimos ,no hagan este servicio no vale la pena pagarlo , ni hacerlo.

Sonia F: Malisimo nos citaron a las 7.30 am para la excursión al Colca y nos recogieron a las 8.30 am es decir una hora después de lo pactado , encima luego de tanta y fastidiosa espera ni nos pidieron las disculpas del caso , el vehículo en muy mal estado , no cuenta con aire acondicionado, los asientos no son nada cómodos , la guía no era nada amable una señorita pedante y sin carisma , por eso razón no aconsejo esta compañía para ningún tour.

Angel: Pésima atención, te citan a una hora y salen una hora después, encima luego de semejante espera nos cambiaron de carro por qué estaba en mal estado, realmente pésimo el servicio de la agencia que nisiquiera cuenta con servicios higiénicos cuando esperan. Lo primero que haré al regresar es hacer mi queja en el libro de reclamaciones.

La atención en sus oficinas es malísima personas sin educación que solo saben Gritar y Pelear los dueños Ángel y Luz ( porque hasta sus nombres nos grabamos de tantos gritos que daban ) en frente de nosotros sus clientes y turistas que falta de respeto hacia nosotros ; fueron las 4 horas peor invertidas. El tour básicamente te pasea por la ciudad la mayor parte del tiempo hasta llegar a lugares nada bonitos ni sorprendentes. TRES de los cuales hay que abonar entrada para ingresar aparte del costo o esperar al lado del bus y perder más tiempo del que ya perdiste. La guía estaba más concentrada en su celular que en la gente. Pésima atención. Todo el tiempo apurando a la gente apenas nos bajamos al lugar de destino y llegada. Para nada recomendable. Nunca Volvería hacer este servicio, Tengan mucho cuidado no se dejen engañar.

Arkaixo: La peor compañía de tours que me encontrado en Perú. Quedamos para realizar la visita en español, empezamos con el grupo en inglés. Supuestamente llegaría el guía en el idioma que nos habían comentado. Finalmente no hicimos el tour n nuestro idioma y el tour bajo mi punto de vista dejo mucho que desear.Mala experiencia que hizo perderme gran parte del tiempo que tenia para disfrutar de esta ciudad. No me gusta que jueguen con mi tiempo y está compañía de tours así lo hizo.No recomendable!!!

Justus: Wir haben die Tour um 12:15 gemacht. Treffpunkt am Plaza San Fransico. Die Wege waren alternativ und schön. Unser Guide sprach leider wirklich nur sehr gebrochenes Englisch. Wir konnten ihn leider nur kaum folgen. Man war teilweise völlig verwirrt, was er einem erzählen will. Zwischendrin empfiehlt er dann noch, wie auf dem Foto zu sehen, irgendeine Agentur für Touren und macht generell einen eher zerstreuten Eindruck. Würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen und nicht nochmal machen. Verstehe die positiven Bewertungen nicht.

Sería mala suerte, supongo, pero nos guió el peor guía que nos ha tocado en los 20 días que hemos pasado en Perú . Recorrido poco interesante no sujeto al anunciado en la web, comentarios poco adecuados sin venir a cuento, y sin esperar a todo el grupo para explicar las cosas. Hasta tal punto, que nos perdió a media visita. A la salida de una terraza donde vimos el atardecer, cuando llegamos a la plaza, el grupo había desaparecido quedándonos sin terminar el tour. Mal guía. Mala ruta. Mala experiencia.

Muy recomendable la atencion de Isaac. Los tours se cumplieron tal cual nos informo Isaac, las movilidades (que decian Baby Lama a los lados) muy adecuados para el grupo y las distancias recoridas.Todo muy recomendable. Ana Belén Ramos: Quito una Estrella por un guía MUY MALO, llamado Walter. Explico experiencia completa:1. Catarata Pillones: Gustavo muy buen guía que nos explicaba TODO y se preocupaba por nosotros, por explicarnos el mal de altura y los posibles riesgos de la caminata (aunque era bastante segura) y porque estuvieran mejor los que estaban mal.2. Cañón del Colca: solo contratamos el transporte (de Arequipa al inicio del trekking, en San Miguel, que lo hicimos por libre). El transporte con sus respectivas paradas guiadas, paramos en la Cruz del cóndor, todo muy bonito, pero el guía (WALTER) pésimo, explicaba poco y nada y además le dio por explicar solo en inglés la mayoría de las veces (ya que éramos los únicos que hablábamos español y supongo que le molestaba que no hubiésemos comprado el guiado). Cuando llegamos a San Miguel (donde empezábamos a caminar) nos soltó allí sin decirnos nada ni darnos una mínima indicación de por dónde empezar a caminar, tuve que preguntarle muy insistentemente hacia dónde me dirigía.3. Final del Cañón del Colca - Puno: muy muy bueeeeen guía (Max), inmejorable, suuuuper atento, nos explicaba mil cosas y era muy muy servicial. El mejor de los mejores!!!

Chris G: I did the Colca Trekking 2D1N. I actually booked through a different agency but they tend to swap guests aroundThe tour was about as excellent as I could expect. Food was delicious and plentiful, the guide Eddie was amazing, and the transport was nice. The accommodation was basic but this was stated in advance.Be warned, the trek is fairly short, but very demanding. If you are not very fit you might want to consider a non trekking tour!

Jaco Evers: Professionele en meedenkende organisatie. Tijdens de heenweg naar de Colca Canyon kreeg mijn vriendin erg last van hoogteziekte. Zodanig dat we moesten besluiten de trektocht van 3 dagen af te blazen en terug te gaan. De gids van de heenweg regelde dat we met een bus mee terug konden. Tijdens deze bus werd de hoogteziekte erger, maar door professionele, goede zorg van de tweede gids kwamen we goed aan in Arequipa. De volgende dag besloten we langs het reisbureau te gaan en hebben we een compensatie gekregen, erg netjes! 2 dagen later via Peru Baby Lama nog een rafting trip gedaan. Was erg leuk! Aanrader.

Son simplemente una agencia que capta más personas, no tienen movilidad propia y tampoco asignan al guía. Por ello, no esperes que el servicio sea igual en todos los casos. Además, los precios que te dan sólo son la movilidad y te obligan a ir a los lugares que ellos han determinado para tu viaje, en los cuales los precios son demasiado caros (S/25 un menú "desnutrido").2. Trabajan con la peor compañía de viajes que he conocido "Phaway Viajes". Tener mucho cuidado con los estafadores de Phaway.3. La guía del Tour de la campiña (Sharon) es una persona de mal carácter que le arruinó el viaje a todos. Por su mal humor, no pudimos ver la mansión que es el atractivo principal.4. El guía del Tour de las Cataratas de Pillones (Jefferson) fue bastante amable y atento. Sin embargo, parecía un robot al momento de explicar las cosas y se pasó la mayor parte del tiempo sentado y sin explicar nada más de lo "programado".5. Eduardo fue la persona que me atendió. Fue bastante amable y estuvo atento en todo momento, siempre que estuviera en horario laboral, claro está.6. José fue un guía que realmente nos hizo vivir la experiencia del la Ruta del Sillar. Sin embargo, estuve bastante estresado porque la movilidad asignada fue la misma que nos arruinó el viaje al Colca.

Idara Campos: Oportunistas totalmente! Compré el servicio de Rutas del Sillar y Full day Colca. El cual me dieron el precio de 30 soles por persona (Ruta del Sillar), yo ya habia ido al tour anteriormente pero con otra empresa en el cual me habían cobrado 25. Lamentablemente tuve que cancelar el full day al Colca pues me lastimé la pierna y se me imposilitaba caminar tanto tramo, como aún faltaban 24 horas antes del servicio pude cancelarlo pero el trato que dio una de sus trabajadoras fue nefasto pues ellos se dedican a atención al cliente al menos tienen que cumplir con su función, yo habia yapeado 140 soles por dos personas y me devolvieron en 3 billetes de 50 en el cual uno de ellos estaba sumamente deteriorado, le pedí a la señorita que me lo cambiase y solo puso una cara de fastidio e hizo un comentario desatinado para alguien que se dedica a atención al cliente y luego de eso supuestamente cambio el billete pero me dio el mismo. Comento que son oportunistas pues mientras esperabamos la devolución del dinero le entró una llamada donde al parecer unos turistas querian tomar la ruta del sillar y entre los trabajadores se pusieron a discutir que precio cobrarles! Yo que soy peruana se aprovecharon no quiero ni imaginar como lo haran con los turistas extranjeros.

D Sanchez: Hicimos la excursión Cañón del Colca con esta agencia, todo fue correcto excepto un asunto muy grave (a mi parecer).El grave es que se supone que nos venían a recoger a la puerta del hotel a las 3 de la madrugada. A las 2:50 recibo una llamada de quién organiza la excursión pidiéndome que vaya a la plaza de armas ya que estaba cerca, dije que a esas horas es peligroso, él dijo que no es peligroso y que no pasaría nada. Tras insistir me pidió que le mandara la dirección del hotel, cosa que me hizo perder la confianza en esta compañía, ¿Como puede ser que no sepas la dirección dónde tienes que ir a buscar a tus clientes? ¿Y por qué el cliente tiene que estar buscando la dirección y facilitandola si ya la tenían? ¿es molestar por molestar?Pero lo grave no es esto, lo grave es que Arequipa es peligrosa a las 3 de la madrugada, preguntando a cualquier persona local te dirá eso, no entiendo cómo la agencia prefiere poner en peligro la vida de sus clientes por ahorrarse unos minutos para ir a buscar a sus clientes(cosa que está incluida en el precio, por cierto).Hay gente que espera a las 3 de la mañana cerca de la plaza de armas con cuchillos (esto es información verídica, de testimonios directos y visto en videos) esperan a esa hora porque saben que todos los tours salen entre 3 y 3:30 de la mañana.Imagino que no están compinchados, pero uno puede llegar a dudar ya que tras indicar el tema a la gente de la compañía, seguían insistiendo en que a esas horas no hay problema y es seguro.Ojo, si la agencia os dice que vayáis de madrugada , no hagáis ni caso, tienen que irá buscaros al hotel.

Chris Tian: We booked a two day tour (2D/1N) to Colca Canyon through Peru Baby Lama Adventures and had two really fantastic days. The guide was very professional, explained a lot and spoke perfect english. The driver was also great so we felt very safe. We can recommend the tour to everyone, because you really see a lot on the trip.Extra tip: It is best to book one of the better hotels (at extra cost). Just ask for it.

Mate Horvath: Friendly and professional staff, Judy was really helpful when we were asking about the possible trips. We went for a 1-day tour to the Colca Canyon, it was flawless and the price was great. Our guide Angel was also very professional and the bus was comfy. Why the 4 stars? The agency booked us for a 1-day trip to the Punaya Geyser, Stone Forrest and Pillones Waterfall. It turned out on departure that the trip was organised by another agency called A BORDO. Avoid then at all costs! The van was uncomfortable, the guide was barely able to speak English - even we booked a tour with EN guide - and there was a lot of delays, almost zero control from the tour guide. So Baby Lama is a great agency, but they should be much more careful when they sell other's trips.

Julien Crisinel: Grâce à Arequipa Tour notre séjour à Arequipa a été plus que magnifique. Gloria a tout organisé pour que tout se passe bien. 2 jours à Colca avec plein d'explications tout au long du trajet. Et en prime une quinzaine de condors. Suivi de 2 jours pour l'ascension du volcan el Misti. Une expérience qui restera gravée à jamais, et grâce au guides plus que professionnels, amicals et à l'écoute tout s'est très bien passé. Slo' Mrsch: Nous nous sommes laissés tenter avec mon compagnon par une visite de la ville après notre trek dans le canyon del Colca. Nous le recommandons à tous les voyageurs, en début de séjour à Arequipa, car il vous fera découvrir des lieux vraiment sympas sur lesquels vous pourrez retourner sur la suite de votre séjour. Notre guide, en anglais, était un vrai passionné de sa ville et ça se sentait. Un véritable plaisir pour nous de sillonner les rues avec son histoire racontée avec affection. Attention, penser à la réserver 12h à l'avance sur internet très facilement. C'est gratuit, il suffit de laisser un tips au guide en fin de tour, amplement mérité :)

Sébastien PROUST: Visite très agréable d’environ 2h (nous avions un timing serré à cause de notre bus). Notre guide était passionné par sa ville et nous a transmis tout son enthousiasme. Nous avons marché à travers Arequipa et découvert plein de lieux insolites (avec des bars, resto,…) qu’il est impossible de découvrir seul. C’est pourquoi nous vous recommandons de faire cette visite en début de séjour afin de pouvoir revenir par après à ces endroits.

Lyly Ly: No recomiendo para nada esta compañía hicimos la excursión en la ciudad y al cañón del colca ambos terribles las guías antipáticas y no nos explicaron nada de los lugares que visitábamos estaban de puro adorno , encima los vehículos son muy obsoletos con sillas nada cómodas para viajes tan prolongados , no cuentan tampoco con calefacción ya que nos morimos casi de frío durante todas las excursiones , no os recomendamos esta empresa para ningún servicio tengáis mucho cuidado.
