C.Moscol: Let's see to begin with, and being specific with the food, my first recommendation is that they change the chef, the taste is common, it does not stand out, I would say that it borders on the bad.The ceviche seems to need more preparation, the leche de tigre seems to have more water than anything else, and not to mention the Chaufa lacks more seasoning.Urgent recommendation to change the chef or in such a case to lower the prices because the expectations are definitely high for what they prepare.

Stev: During my stay the food was very good but the service could be a lot improved.We arrived around 6pm and although it was cold we could not sit inside. This is only possible as of 7pm. I was freezing. They did not use the heating bulbs. Service was taking a long time to take our order, although our drinks were empty they never offered a re-order. Also they never asked us whether everything was good, also not when we paid. Seemed very inattentive to us as customers overall. Besides that, a great place. The recipes are superb.

Timothy J Sayer: I found this a little disappointing for a few reasons.Having not been able to get in to the Lima restaurant, I was keen to come here and try some of Gaston's food.The chupe Andino was nice and had pops of flavour that I enjoyed, having not had anything similar before. I had no serviettes or cutlery apart from a spoon to eat the corn with which was a hassle.I then had the pulpo a la brasa, and I honestly can't understand why this had no flavour, even with olives and capers in the dish. The chimichurri had zero flavour which I don't understand how that's even possible and if I was blindfolded, I would never have guessed that the octopus was grilled. It was sadly an oily, flavourless dish.My side plate, bread basket and butter still remained after the main was cleared even though I'd finished before the starter arrived. I also waited to be offered deserts but the offer didn't come.I so wanted to have a great experience here, but sadly I didn't.
Luke Costa: We were literally just looking to try chicha de guiñapo, a fermented purple corn drink that only comes from Arequipa, and this was one of the only places we could find that sold it.Although more of a restaurant, the staff allowed us to sit at the bar whilst then providing us a complimentary selection of local breads and butters. Excellent hospitality and a beautiful restaurant.

Delicious delicious cerviche!! I think we ate here 4 or 5 times during our stay in Arequipa. The cerviche was EXCELLENT. Super fresh and tasty. Two Fish cerviche remains our favourite but we tried the black shell (clam) which had a robust, intense sea flavour which we loved and the tiradito with rocoto sauce was delicious. Other dishes of note: Their seafood chicharrón was tender on the inside and crunchy without and their pulpo al parrilla was smoky and sticky and delicious with a good amount of chew without being remotely tough. To cap it off they have two scrumptious craft beers on tap (the mandarin was a citric hop driven winner!!) and we were fortunate enough to be given a number of vouchers for pisco sours which were delicious! Oh and the staff are lovely too. Loved it :) (My photos don’t do the food justice - please go!)
Went with a recommendation and tried the octopus.. Wow cooked to perfection along with the potatoes. Came with a refreshing onion tomato salad which I usually never eat but this salad was delicious. They also give a fabulous homemade hot sauce. Soo good! I will go back to try the ceviche. Alex was super friendly and welcoming. I didn't know what beer to choose so he volunteered me a free tasting of all his beers so I can find the perfect one with my meal. I was too full for ceviche but as another gift he offered me a tasting of the ceviche juices they use.. So good with a nice little hint of spice. I highly recommend this restaurant ad note that I eat a lot of seafood in Toronto and Portugal. Enjoy

I normally don't choose vegetarian sushi, but this place does some of the best sushi I've ever had (so much so I went twice).It's also really well priced. I'd recommend going for the nigiris and gunkan with the makis, and trying the ceviche which is a get vegan take on a classic.The courtyard is also really cool and representative of the city's architecture.

Les tailles étaient assez petites mais ce n'est pas cher donc c'est normal.Le décor est sublime, très sobre à la japonaise. Il faisait un peu froid aussi car les portes sont ouvertes sur l'extérieur. Valentin Poussier: C'est délicieux mais peu copieux si on veut s'en sortir pour moins de 50 soles par personne.La soupe miso est un régal, mais même pour 5 soles, elle est ridiculement petite (une tasse de café).Les gyozas ne sont pas hyper garnis mais excellents.Les sushis également, même si dans les combos à 16 pièces, il y a 6 makis minuscules avec seulement du riz et un tout petit bout soit d'avocat, soit d'épinard.Les autres pièces sont succulentes, on en oublie que c'est du végétalien même lorsque l'on a l'habitude de manger des sushis classiques.Le service est correct quoique assez froid, on n'entend presque pas les serveurs parler qui marmonnent tout bas on ne sait pourquoi (les deux qu'on a eu en tout cas).

Chantelle Is Me: People saying that you’ll be disappointed if you’ve ever been to Thailand are just being silly. This is a FUSION restaurant; also in Peru, not Thailand. I’ve been to Thailand a few times and really enjoyed the twist on their red curry here. The taste was really good.Minus one star because despite the large bowl, it’s shallow and I was hungry for dinner much earlier than normal.

Joost de Groot: Unfortunately, not a very good experience. The class started late. During the class “experience” it was not clear what was going to be cooked. No recipes were provided to the people participating. Following we solely needed to cut some food preparing for the cooking which was done by the instructor and not by the participants. Cooking techniques were not clear. The dishes were not tasteful. All in all a strange and disappointing experience.
Rik Kotter: We booked a cooking class this morning through our hostel that was supposed to be at 4pm (they also have an 11am option). However, slightly after 11am they called us to cancel our class. Since we're leaving tomorrow to Colca Canyon and the morning class has just started, that means we can't a cooking class anymore in Arequipa because of this cancellation.Although we would have still preferred the 4pm option, would they have communicated earlier that they would cancel it, we could've lived with the menu of the morning class, but not even that was possible now.And yes, we know today is the feast of Santa Rosa de Lima (a holiday), but that does not excuse the poor communication on their behalf.

maureen ba: First of all the activity started 15min late while we were asked to arrive 10 min in advance... Not nice.We did the Lomo saltado class, we were 3 people. We paid 75 soles each for 2 hours class. It went well, we did one small meal and then Lomo saltado. It was OK because the chef is really nice but if I have to rate the class, it was not the best.First of all the class lasted 1h45min and during it we ate the meal so we only cooked 1h15min maybe. It did not learn much as the was not technical part, it was really basic.I did not learn anything about Peruvian history or culture and the ingredient were basic, nothing so local.I spent a good moment thanks to the chef but honestly the class is disappointing.
