I only eat gluten free in the US (I don’t have celiac disease) but in Arequipa I can eat all of their sourdough bread with no problems. It’s healthy plus delicious.

Your Dad: I wrote asking what days they had croissants, they told me that every day, so I went in person on Sunday to buy them but the lady told me that they didn't have them, it took me 40 minutes to arrive and another 40 minutes to return, time and gasoline wasted for taste , I do not recommend it.

You can't go wrong but my favorites were the french toast and the almond croissant. All the ingredients are locally and ethically sourced which is awesome. We loved the brownies so much we got some on our last day to bring back to the US.

What annoys the most is that we were never able to eat together since everything arrived in parts and with excessive delays. The cappuccino was terrible, only the cream was good but the coffee was not even felt. The good juices, the acceptable sandwich. The waiter showed his lack of experience in the lounge and, well, he was also alone for 8 or more tables. Personally noooooo I'm going back, a shame because my mother and grandmother took me to this company since I can remember many years ago when it was a little further up and the place was quite small. On top of that, they charge you a 10% consumption surcharge on the account that we all know is practically the service. First, they hire a waiter who knows how to attend and with experience, second, that everyone who knows about customer service. Waiter only has to serve up to 4 tables for good service, thirdly, tips in Peru are not mandatory and if this company includes them, I train the staff or I have A&B staff in my room. Never again in this place and I will tell all my contacts in Arequipa. Horrifying.
