Stev: During my stay the food was very good but the service could be a lot improved.We arrived around 6pm and although it was cold we could not sit inside. This is only possible as of 7pm. I was freezing. They did not use the heating bulbs. Service was taking a long time to take our order, although our drinks were empty they never offered a re-order. Also they never asked us whether everything was good, also not when we paid. Seemed very inattentive to us as customers overall. Besides that, a great place. The recipes are superb.

Timothy J Sayer: I found this a little disappointing for a few reasons.Having not been able to get in to the Lima restaurant, I was keen to come here and try some of Gaston's food.The chupe Andino was nice and had pops of flavour that I enjoyed, having not had anything similar before. I had no serviettes or cutlery apart from a spoon to eat the corn with which was a hassle.I then had the pulpo a la brasa, and I honestly can't understand why this had no flavour, even with olives and capers in the dish. The chimichurri had zero flavour which I don't understand how that's even possible and if I was blindfolded, I would never have guessed that the octopus was grilled. It was sadly an oily, flavourless dish.My side plate, bread basket and butter still remained after the main was cleared even though I'd finished before the starter arrived. I also waited to be offered deserts but the offer didn't come.I so wanted to have a great experience here, but sadly I didn't.
Luke Costa: We were literally just looking to try chicha de guiñapo, a fermented purple corn drink that only comes from Arequipa, and this was one of the only places we could find that sold it.Although more of a restaurant, the staff allowed us to sit at the bar whilst then providing us a complimentary selection of local breads and butters. Excellent hospitality and a beautiful restaurant.

Located on top of hotel “le foyer”.Can only recommend the pisco sour workshops in the afternoon. Very friendly team, a variety of flavors which they steep into the pisco themselves. My favorite is the maracuya and sancaya, the latter also known as colca sour. Special thanks to Lisbeth for the insights into pisco culture!

Me and 2 friends came in pretty late and the doors were locked and they were definitely winding down for the night letting guests leave, but without hesitation they let us in and sat us. Our server was absolutely amazing and we loved to chat with him. The food was absolutely stellar, I have not had a steak or mashed potatoes that good in sooo long, the red wine and bacon sauce was just amazing. The burger and fries that my friend ate was also a 10/10 according to them as well as the Peruvian fettuccine the other ordered. 11/10 experience all around and was not even that expensive for the quality!!!

W L: A talented young chef who makes innovative food. We had pork belly and menu of the day which was fish, both were good. Dessert was this amazing ice cream which we had thought was the famous Queso Helado, but we had a few other queso helado's later and none were as good as this one. So perhaps it was a different flavour? Incredibly creamy and rich, worth the extra bit of walk just for the ice cream!

I normally don't choose vegetarian sushi, but this place does some of the best sushi I've ever had (so much so I went twice).It's also really well priced. I'd recommend going for the nigiris and gunkan with the makis, and trying the ceviche which is a get vegan take on a classic.The courtyard is also really cool and representative of the city's architecture.

In fact, the next day we went back for dinner, the ideal place, the spectacular views and above all the food, everything was very good, the staff was super attentive and at all times advised us and was right, if I were to return to Arequipa I would return definitely. Totally recommended.

Bryce Mancell: Decent spot for a quiet meal, I admit I am a repeat customer. Why one star less: food is average and service is a bit on the slower side (45 minutes and up once your order is placed). Twice when I ordered palta rellena they brought me Rocoto Relleno, on 2 different visits not sure why (for those that do not know what those are they are NOT the same thing). All that said it's a good atmosphere and I will likely go back again! Just don't be in a rush when going here.

On the other hand, at night it usually fills up around 8 o'clock, be punctual. The drinks are very good, however I would recommend something innovative, it has nothing different from the others. The environment is comfortable especially on the third floor.
