Roland Gugerli: Habe Bustour für 4 Stunden gemacht. Bus waren ok und sauber. Die Führerin hätte etwas freundlicher sein können. Drei Atraktionen sind im Preis nicht inbegriffen und müssen separat bezahlt werden. Viel habe ich nicht gesehen. Es gab ein historischer Platz zum Anschauen. Der Rest war mehr Verkaufsorganisation. Zum Schluss wurde Reiten für SOL 20:00 angeboten. Bei Ende der Tour wurden ich an einem anderen Ort abgeladen. Für mich war die Tour verlorene Zeit. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Nothing professional, we suffered bad treatment by this company, they presume to provide a good service and that they are recommended, but it is a total lie, the car is extremely old, obsolete, the driver did not know how to drive, the police stopped us for a period of time 30 minutes due to its lousy handling and the guide never explained anything to us. I do not recommend it.
Gaby byga: I do not recommend it, horrible experience, we took the service with them to visit the city of Arequipa, the transport unit is very old, they do not have any cleaning, we did not visit all the places offered, the service staff are very rude, the service Guided for nothing recommended, they never explained anything to us about the history of Arequipa or anything! Ash K: Had an awesome trip to the Colca Canyon with Jesus and Julio. Jesus is so knowledgable and friendly, we felt instantly in safe hands. The accommodation was lovely - it even had hot showers which we weren’t expecting!The only reason I have given this 4 stars rather than 5 is because for the lunch and dinner on the first day, the only option available was to eat at the hotel, which was fine but it cost 35 soles each. Which isn’t too bad, but if you are a backpacker on a budget - it’s quite steep for both meals! As it is the only food option available, I think it should be included in the price of the tour. Other than that, great trip, thank you so much Julio & Jesus. 😊

Weeble L: We had an exceptional tour with Giardino Tours while in Arequipa and Colca Canyon, thru to Puno. The tour was booked through the tour company so we were not sure what to expect. Both were group tours but the first ended up being just my husband and I and the colca canyon tour only had 5 people. We were lucky enough to have the same guide for both tours. Antonio is amazing. His passion, love, and knowledge of his city and country is infectious. Without Antonio it would have just been another tour. We did many tours in the two weeks we were there and Antonio was the best guide by far. We were disappointed when we had to leave us in Puno.

A guia Olivia foi bastante informativa e simpática. O motorista dirige de forma muito tranquila e não passa dos 80Km/h. Isso realmente deve ser muito valorizado, pois os motoristas peruanos são loucos, agressivos e extremamente imprudentes. Assim, ter um motorista tranquilo é realmente muito tranqulizador.Os horários são um pouco corridos e não se consegue muito aproveitar o Hotel Casa de Mamaychi em Coporaque (que tem uma vista espetacular). Mas isso é compreensível tendo em vista o número de atividades e as distâncias envolvidas.Recomendo muito que fechem com a Giardino. Apesar dos valores as vezes um pouco mais elevados, a qualidade é realmente muito boa.Contras:- Espere gastar mais uma quantia considerável em "extras". As refeições no Hotel não são nada baratas!- Minha noiva fala principalmente espanhol e 90% dos demais turistas só entendiam Inglês. Com isso, percebemos que as explicações em espanhol acabavam sendo mais curtas ou comprometidas em alguns momentos. Portanto, se for falante de espanhol, certifique-se de que o guia falará sua língua. Ou melhor, feche um tour só com falantes de espanhol!

Der Ausflug war super organisiert und unsere Reiseführerin Milagros war einfach nur fantastisch. Sie versorgte uns während den Busfahrten mit vielen Informationen über die Geschichte, Traditionen, Region, Einheimischen, Tierwelt etc... Das Tal ist wunderschön und ein Muss, wenn man in der Gegend ist. Nicht vergessen möchten wir auch unseren tollen Chauffeur Elias. Vielen Dank für das wundervolle Erlebnis!
Marianna C.: Abbiamo prenotato direttamente presso i loro uffici di Arequipa un tour privato per il giorno seguente (Ruta del Sillar y Quebrada de Culebrillas). La prenotazione è stata davvero semplice e la referente dell'agenzia è stata molto disponibile nello spiegarci lo svolgimento dell'attività e fornirci tutte le informazioni relative. Il prezzo è in linea con quello di altri tour operator organizzati per un tour privato (agosto 2022 $45 per persona). Il mattino seguente la nostra guida ci ha raggiunti in hotel insieme ad un autista dedicato. Tutto si è svolto in modo puntuale e la guida ha organizzato gli orari in modo da evitare la folla per avere più tempo a nostra disposizione. Inoltre è stata molto disponibile nel fornirci le informazioni durante la visita e anche alcuni consigli extra sulla città e sulle attività in generale. Abbiamo ricevuto acqua e uno snack durante la mattinata. In generale un buon servizio!
Mary A: I decided to hire a travel agency for Arequipa as this was the first time for my 11 year old daughter in the Andes. Best decision! We felt safe and well taken care from day one. The agency helped us with all the arrangements to make our stay relax and pleasant. In the end it was me the one suffering from altitude sickness but our tour guide had lot of experience and she helped me to go through it with love and care. We thank our both tour guides Gerbert and Olivia for being so passionate about the stories they shared, for taking care of us and for showing us Arequipa and their beautiful places. I’ll definitely recommend Giardiano tours to my family and friends.

C C: We booked our 2 days/1 night Colca Tour and transfer to Puno with Giardino Tours. Since we had our accommodation in the Colca valley already booked and wanted to transfer to Puno not directly but after some days the schedule of the tour had to be adjusted. Adela took care of everything and was checking on us frequently via our tour guide or directly via WhatsApp. We were told the names of our tour guides/taxidrivers and the pick-up times in advance and never got forgotten or were late.Giardino Tours has some companies they work with, so we did the Colca canyon tour with Colonial Tours (which was great!) (maybe it is cheaper if you book directly with them), and the transfer to Puno with another company ( forgot the name, but it was okay, since the tour guide wasn't that good and we had some delay arriving in Puno).Although the prices are higher if you compare them to the prices you can get in the city centre of Arequipa for the same tour we chose Giardino Tours because they seemed to be more professional (they have a proper office instead of being located in some tourist shop) and only had good reviews comparing to other tour operators. Since we booked the Colca tour plus the transfer we got some discount on the final price. Summarising it was a good experience and we would recommend to book with this tour operator being aware that you are paying a higher price than in other places.

Arkaixo: The worst tour company I have found in Peru. We agreed to make the visit in Spanish, we started with the group in English. Supposedly the guide would arrive in the language that we had been told. Finally we did not do the tour in our language and the tour from my point of view left a lot to be desired.Bad experience that made me lose much of the time I had to enjoy this city. I don't like my time being played with and this tour company did just that.Not recommendable!!!
Justus: Wir haben die Tour um 12:15 gemacht. Treffpunkt am Plaza San Fransico. Die Wege waren alternativ und schön. Unser Guide sprach leider wirklich nur sehr gebrochenes Englisch. Wir konnten ihn leider nur kaum folgen. Man war teilweise völlig verwirrt, was er einem erzählen will. Zwischendrin empfiehlt er dann noch, wie auf dem Foto zu sehen, irgendeine Agentur für Touren und macht generell einen eher zerstreuten Eindruck. Würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen und nicht nochmal machen. Verstehe die positiven Bewertungen nicht.

Juankar Delba: With the illusion of touring a city as beautiful as Arequipa and being told its history, we signed up for the tour on August 20, 2022. It would be bad luck, I suppose, but we were guided by the worst guide that we have had in the 20 days What we have been through in Peru. Uninteresting route not subject to what was advertised on the web, inappropriate comments without coming to the point, and without waiting for the whole group to explain things. To such an extent, that he lost us halfway through the visit. At the exit of a terrace where we watched the sunset, when we arrived at the square, the group had disappeared, leaving us without finishing the tour. Bad guide. Bad route. Bad experience.

Rodrigo Lara: The tours they offer are good, but the Mirabus tour, their last stop, is totally unnecessary. Just as in the tour for the salt flats reserve, they fill it with waiting time in the restaurant where they serve breakfast, we were there for about an hour. Of course, the transport units are well equipped, except for the mirabus.

Tamara Pearson: Great communication by WhatsApp, but false tour information. For the Salinas tour, after waiting for 2 hours at the sillar stop while the guide helped people take selfies, the salinas part was skipped all together. The guide said this was due to it being dry season, but that was never explained at the time of purchase, instead the itinerary i was sent clearly said 1.5 hours would be in salinas. The colca tour was punctual, bus comfortable, but again we spent more time at the gimmicky hot springs area where people paid large amounts for ziplines etc, than at the actual condor canyon area. The tours are fairly standard across companies, so it may be more about commercialising tourism, but it was frustrating

Peter Sanchez: Good attention, direct from their WhatsApp from the first moment I wanted to hire the tour, they inform about the itinerary and cost. They also offer several payment methods, due to the rush and because I contracted the Colca tour service the day before, being far from their facilities, they offered me to pay online. After confirming the payment, they asked me where I was staying to be able to pick me up, included in the tour; It is one of the tours that start early because they picked me up at 3:10 am and it included breakfast. The experience and information of the guide was great because he gave information in each district that we passed from Chivay until we reached the Colca viewpoint. When lunchtime arrived, the bus dropped us off at a restaurant that included a buffet, the best choice and at a reasonable price because you can try the variety of Arequipa cuisine. Due to all this, I chose to hire the tour to Salinas again, the payment was online, safe and fast.

Sans parler du fait qu'il fallait faire comme ELLE voulait et on ne pouvait pas aller faire un tour temps que le sandwich n'était pas fini. Bref une grosse folle. Elle ferait mieux de changer de travail.FUYEZ cette compagnie.
Mathilde Abc: We took the bus from Chivay to Cusco. It was punctual and clean. The two of us were the only ones in the bus and the driver/guide took a lot of his time to tell us about the sights on the road. We even got some spanish ad quechua lessons on the way and learned about social and political issues in Peru.
Matt Pochin: At +$50 the 4m bus from Chivay to Cusco must be one of the most expensive bus journeys in Peru (a flight from Lima to Cusco is around the same price!). Nevertheless it does seem to be the only bus operator providing this route, which gives little choice.Whilst the 4m website explains that the bus would go north from Chivay the bus went south close to Arequipa before heading north to Cusco. This added extra travel time and missed out some of the tourist stops advertised on the website.On the positives - the bus was clean, comfortable and the tour guide was friendly (if a little over-enthusiastic!).
Felix Nensa: We had booked the trip from Arequipa to Chivay and then to Puno for 220$ just the evening before. During the night one of us got really sick and we did not make it to the bus. We asked to take the trip one day later instead. They "offered" us to pay additional 140$ just to shift our trip by one day, which we declined. They alternatively offered us a 50$ refund, but just because one of us is Peruvian. If we both would have been tourists they would have not offered any refund at all they said. We thankfully declined this as well and prefer to inform others what level of goodwill they can expect from 4M.
Manuel Bernal: We took the bus from Arequipa to Puno, the picked us up at the hotel on time and drive for tow hours to our first stop, there we were offered a sandwich and a drink and switched bus. From there the next stop was at Lagunillas and from there straight to Puno. The bus was super clean, and there is a toilet onboard. They take you safely from point A from point B, and yes it might expensive but it was a very confortable ride, the bus was quite empty so we could change seats as many times as we wanted to better enjoy the view, which is amazing by the way.

Gülten Akpolat: Eines der schlechtesten Services die ich Peru während meiner Reise mit dem Bus erlebt habe. Das Personal war nur mit sich selber beschäftigt. Wenn wir was bestellen wollten wurden wir böse angeguckt. Wir hatten schon Angst was zu bestellen. Die Busbegleiterin flirtete nur mit dem Busfahrer und dem Reiseleiter. Zum Schminken aber hatte sie Zeit.
Boon Koh: We took the 4M Express bus from Puno to Arequipa. I wouldn't recommend it - the bus wasn't as nice as the Inka Express we took from Cusco to Puno. The tour guide was do disinterested and grumpy, the audio commentary throughout the journey was flat. There are two stops - but neither are worth going to - they're there just to justify the cost. Lunch was a lousy and tasteless tuna and ham sandwich.I would save the $30-$35 you will pay and instead just take a direct bus from Puno to Arequipa. Or try another company, if you really still want a tourist-level bus.
